Excavator Operator

The Excavator Operator will primarily work on construction sites as part of a large crew of six or more members. This role involves operating heavy excavator equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to safety regulations, and performing precise excavation tasks. The position requires frequent travel to various local job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavator equipment to perform excavation and load handling tasks
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on construction sites

• Adapt to frequent travel requirements to various site locations

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation
• Certification as a Heavy Equipment Operator
• Specialized knowledge in excavator operation
• Strong understanding of safety regulations
• Mechanical maintenance skills
• Ability to read and interpret site plans
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina to handle demanding work conditions
