Pipelayer

The Pipelayer will be responsible for installing and aligning pipes primarily for water pipelines, sewer systems, and storm drainage projects. Working on local jobsites with medium-sized teams, the role requires effective coordination, material handling, and operating tools to ensure efficient pipeline installation. Understanding of elevations, grade readings, and site instrumentation is important.

Responsibilities

• Install and align pipes for water, sewer, and storm drainage systems
• Handle materials and prepare job sites
• Shoot grades and record elevations
• Setup site level and pipe lasers
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Coordinate tasks within teams of 6-10 members
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in pipe laying
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in blueprint reading
• Knowledge of elevations and site instruments
• Knowledge of shoring techniques
• Strong understanding of safety procedures
• Demonstrated physical stamina and teamwork skills
• Effective problem-solving abilities
