Occupational Therapy Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The successful candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines.
Responsibilities- Implement therapy interventions as outlined in the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in providing education to patients and their families regarding therapy processes and goals.
- Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one.
- Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
