Audiologist Job Description
An opportunity is available for a skilled Audiologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic services within multiple locations in the region. This role involves a variety of audiological evaluations for both pediatric and adult populations, ensuring high-quality care for all patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct audiological evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
- Administer Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) neurological and threshold studies, both in-office and in the operating room.
- Perform Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) testing.
- Conduct Videonystagmography (VNG) assessments.
- Carry out Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (VEMPs) testing.
- Utilize Video Head Impulse Test (VHIT) procedures.
- Perform assessments using a rotary chair.
- Conduct Electrocochleography (ECochG) testing.
- Provide input on annual budget and equipment needs.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience in diagnostic audiology preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
This position offers a structured schedule of 8-hour days, providing 40 hours of work per week. Candidates should be prepared for travel between multiple locations within the region.
