Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient pelvic health role treating adult women exclusively, requiring pelvic health training and clinical experience performing internal exams.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting with private patient rooms and three separate gym areas
- Treats adult women only for pelvic health; no pediatrics or male patients
- One-on-one 45-minute patient sessions with no double booking or overlapping
- Average caseload of 9-10 patients per day, all one-on-one with no techs or aides assisting
- Schedule: Monday 8:15am-5:15pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8:15am-5pm, Friday 8:15am-3:30pm
- 30-minute lunch daily with charting time built into the schedule
- Uses Prompt EMR
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- At least Level 1 pelvic health course completed with 3 months of clinical practice in pelvic health, including performing internal exams
- New grads considered if they have strong ortho/sports clinicals or at least one 13-week outpatient ortho/sports contract
- BLS preferred but not required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with orthopedic and sports medicine populations
- Skilled in modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, cervical/lumbar traction, and iontophoresis preferred
- Experience with documentation including evaluations, plans of care, and reassessments
Additional Information
- Primary responsibilities include evaluating and treating adult female patients in a pelvic health specialty caseload
- Focus on orthopedic, sports medicine, and women's health specialties
- Emphasis on patient and family education, home exercise programs, and safety/injury prevention
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate
