A prestigious coastal restaurant and inn in Northern California is seeking a Sommelier to join its acclaimed hospitality team. The property features a world-class wine program with more than 1,600 selections, with particular depth in Burgundy, Champagne, Italy, Germany, and California. This is an excellent opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to advance their career in fine dining and continue pursuing advanced wine education and certification.

• $17–$18/hour plus tips (40 hours a week plus some overtime)

Requirements & Qualifications

• Fine dining serving or sommelier experience
• Strong knowledge of wine varieties and regions
• Excellent communication and guest service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment
• Passion for hospitality and wine
• Must be available to work weekends

Preferred Background & Skills

• Certified Sommelier or actively pursuing certification through the Court of Master Sommeliers
• Management or leadership experience
• Experience with an extensive or high-end wine program
• Interest in pursuing advanced sommelier certifications
• Desire to build a long-term career in wine and beverage hospitality
