Overview:

Position: Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse 

Location: Rumford, Maine

Department: Med Surg

Shifts Available: Nights

Pay: up to $2,016.00 – $2,304.00 gross pay per week; equivalent to $56.00 – $64.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 12 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process
• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice
• Educates patients and families; directs nursing support staff
• Maintains standards of care on the Medical/Surgical Unit
• Accountable for care of assigned patients
• Communicates clinical changes to physicians and responds promptly to condition changes

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.
2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
4. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
5. Ventilator Management experience preferred.
6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00 per hour. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
