Sanitation Temp Labor

Our client, a leading distribution and warehousing organization, is seeking  Sanitation / Janitorial workers to join their team. As a Sanitation / Janitorial employee, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and inventory management teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation / Janitorial Employee- Temp Labor

Location: Maquoketa, IA

Pay Range: $18.50-19.25

Shift: Day and Night shift available

What's the Job?

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties on a variety of surfaces within the distribution center.
• Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with DC Associates and leaders, co-workers, and vendors.
• Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company and regulatory authorities.
• Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• The employee must be able to be on their feet most of the day and walk several miles each day.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
