Job Description:

Position Summary:Performs imaging examinations on all ages of patients (newborn through geriatric), contributing to the efficient operations of the department and ensuring the quality and continuity of patient care. Uses specific training in imaging modality to provide excellent patient care. Performs responsibilities of receptionist/clerk or other department duties as needed.Position Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program with dedicated CT training preferred. Current registration with ARRT may be accepted in lieu of accredited graduation.Current registration with ARRT (R)(CT) or equivalent required.Current BLS certification.Two years post-graduation experience preferred.Ability to perform CT angiography studies included PE chest, CTA head, CTA neck, and CTA abdomen with lower extremity run off preferred.Experience utilizing radiography and computed tomography equipment required, Siemens and Fuji experience preferred.Please make note of the following information: Private Housing is not provided. All housing are shared units. No Pets allowed. Airfare is paid initially by the candidate and/or the agency and will be reimbursed upon the candidate's arrival here in Bethel, AK. a.Right of return transportation. YKHC will provide return transportation (at the cost to the organization) upon termination of an employment agreement unless the termination is a result of:
i. falsification of employment application;
ii. violation of the organizations Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy;
iii. fighting; or
iv. unexcused absence from duties for more than three consecutive scheduled work days
v. voluntary removal from the agency and/or traveler
