Maintenance/Quality Technician or Assembler

Duration: 6–12 Month Contract (Potential Extension)

Pay: 20-21/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Approx. 6:00 AM Start Time | Occasional Saturday OT- 10-12 hours a day

Must Haves

• Trade School/ Apprenticeship completed + High School/GED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working with equipment, tools, and infrastructure systems.
• Ability to assemble, disassemble, troubleshoot, and inspect mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience in maintenance, manufacturing, construction, warehouse, industrial, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, or technician environments.
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, work procedures, and basic technical documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment safely.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work an early morning schedule.

Pluses

• Trade school, vocational training, or technical certification.
• Maintenance Technician, Industrial Maintenance, HVAC, Mechanical, or Electrical Technician experience.
• Experience working with:
• • Generators
  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
  • Static Transfer Switches (STS)
  • Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
  • CRAC/CRAH units
  • Cooling and thermal distribution systems
• Data center, mission-critical facility, or critical infrastructure experience.
• Ability to read electrical or mechanical drawings.
• Engineering education or engineering-related experience.
• Recent graduate from a technical or trade program.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Assemble and prepare prefabricated data center infrastructure systems in a warehouse environment.
• Inspect equipment and verify all parts and components are present and functioning correctly.
• Perform mechanical and electrical validation checks before equipment is shipped to customer sites.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary corrections during assembly and testing.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities on assembled infrastructure systems.
• Disassemble validated systems and prepare them for shipment.
• Work on critical data center infrastructure components including:
• • Generators
  • Electrical distribution equipment
  • PDUs
  • STS and ATS systems
  • CRAC and CRAH units
  • Thermal distribution systems
• Support builds involving both:
• • Grey Space Infrastructure (power distribution, cooling, generators, critical facility systems)
  • White Space Infrastructure (hot aisle containment, rack environments, cooling delivery systems)
• Work on multiple infrastructure builds simultaneously while meeting production and quality deadlines.
• Collaborate with operations leadership and technicians to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
