JOB TITLE:

Process Technician (contract-to-hire)

PAY RATE:

$24.00 - $28.00/hr

SHIFTS:

• 2:00pm - 10:00pm

DAYS:

Mon-Fri + two Saturdays on, and then one Saturday off.

DESCRIPTION:

This role is for a plastic manufacturing company. They produce plastic for various industries, including automotive, medical, etc.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Coordinate and perform mold setups, changeovers, machine start-ups, lockouts, and safe shutdowns.
• Troubleshoot and fine-tune complex injection molding parameters and auxiliary equipment using a variety of engineered and commodity resins. 
• Monitor cycle times, part weights, and product dimensions; perform first-piece approvals and ongoing random quality audits. 
• Partner with shift supervisors, tooling, maintenance, and quality control teams to resolve floor issues and reduce scrap
• General maintenance and upkeep of the facility (sweeping, etc).
