Device Clinic RN or Clinician

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Device Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) or Clinician based in West Orange, NJ. The individual in this role will monitor and manage patients with cardiac implantable devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Responsibilities include remote and in-clinic device checks, analyzing device function, programming adjustments, providing patient and family education, and collaborating with physicians to determine the most appropriate treatment plans. Maintaining accurate and secure patient records and adhering to clinical guidelines and quality standards are integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent clinical certification with relevant experience

• Experience with cardiac implantable devices, including conducting device checks, analyzing data, and programming

• Proficiency in educating patients and families about cardiac devices and associated therapies

• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate, secure clinical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team

• Experience in cardiology procedures and familiarity with associated clinical tools and techniques is a plus

• Ability to work on-site at the West Orange, NJ location on a full-time basis
