YARD ASSOCIATE / EQUIPMENT HANDLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Yard Associate / Equipment Handler for a company based in Lawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with construction rental equipment while working for a growing company that values safety, teamwork, and reliability. Pay Rate
$18.50 per hour
Schedule and Hours
2nd Shift
Yard Associate / Equipment Handler Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction rental equipment and materials.
- Clean, inspect, and prepare equipment for customer use.
- Maintain inventory and organize equipment within the yard.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with general yard maintenance and housekeeping.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE and safety equipment at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must speak Spanish or be bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Previous experience in construction, warehouse, or equipment handling preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Must wear steel-toe boots (STB).
- Must wear appropriate outdoor attire according to weather conditions and a jacket when working indoors if needed.
- Shorts are not permitted.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
