Order Processor – Upholstery Materials Department

Part-Time Monday-Friday $18.00/hour Preferred Hours: 12:00 PM-4:30 PM Flexible Scheduling Available We are a wholesale distributor of upholstery fabrics, materials, and supplies, serving customers nationwide. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our Upholstery Materials Department as an Order Processor. This hands-on position involves receiving incoming materials, processing customer orders, and preparing products for shipment. Attention to detail is extremely important, as accuracy and quality directly impact our customers. What You'll Do: Process & Fulfill Customer Orders Pull the correct materials for customer orders. Measure and cut fabric and upholstery materials to the correct yardage. Carefully inspect materials for flaws or quality concerns while fulfilling orders. Double-check items and quantities for accuracy. Prepare completed orders for shipment. Receive Incoming Inventory: Receive purchase orders into inventory. Carefully check each roll of material against the corresponding purchase order. Verify products, quantities, and other identifying information. Properly tag incoming rolls. Place materials in their appropriate warehouse shelving locations. What We're Looking For: The right person for this position is dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently while also being a good team member. Applicants must: Have excellent attention to detail. Be able to perform basic math, including simple fractions and measurements. Be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Be comfortable being on their feet for extended periods. Be able to follow instructions and established procedures. Take pride in accuracy and quality. Work well both independently and with others. Be dependable and ready to work during scheduled hours. Schedule & Pay: This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time. Pay: $18.00/hour Preferred Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 12:00 PM-4:30 PM Hours: Some flexibility is available. Great Opportunity for Students!
