United Talent Staffing is seeking a Welder for a Monday–Friday position. This role involves fabricating and repairing metal components using MIG, TIG, and stick welding, with an emphasis on aluminum in the Cannonsburg, PA area.
Pay and schedule
- $20+ per hour, based on experience
- Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
- All required personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided.
What you’ll do
- Read work orders and prepare the tools and materials needed for each job.
- Cut, fit, tack, weld, and braze metal parts and equipment.
- Check your work for quality and prevent warping or damage during welding.
- Keep equipment and the work area clean and organized.
- Report faulty equipment or defective materials to your supervisor.
What we’re looking for
- Experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding, particularly with aluminum.
- Ability to follow work orders and read basic drawings or blueprints.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Welding certifications or related experience are preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks required in a welding shop.
Weld test: Candidates will complete a general weld test as part of the hiring process to assess their skills and experience.
