SuiteMate Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission Certified healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for a long-term psychiatric/behavioral health assignment in Wichita Falls, TX.

This position provides nursing care to individuals with mental health, behavioral health, intellectual/developmental, and complex medical needs.

Available Shifts

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Shift availability depends on unit staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and monitor patient health
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations
• Monitor vital signs and changes in patient condition
• Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral health needs
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation
• Follow established clinical, safety, and Joint Commission standards

Qualifications

• Active Texas LVN License or eligible Compact License
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Psychiatric, behavioral health, or IDD experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Must successfully complete required background checks, drug screening, and compliance requirements

Orientation Requirement

Candidates must be available for required orientation and nursing training Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM during the first month.
