Industrial Electrician

We are seeking an experiencedIndustrial Maintenance Electrician with 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience and a strong electrical background. This role will troubleshoot electrical and control systems and eventually work independently on night shift.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot HMI, control, and power circuits to identify open circuits, shorts, and failed components.

• Diagnose and repair relays, contactors, sensors, switches, fuses, breakers, and safety interlocks.

• Troubleshoot I/O and sensors including photoeyes, encoders, and switches using a multimeter and electrical diagrams.

• Diagnose safety circuits, start/stop controls, heater contactors, and control voltage issues.

• Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns.

• Communicate downtime causes, estimated repair times, and follow-up needs with supervisors, operators, and engineering.

• Learn facility equipment and process flow and work closely with experienced technicians during training.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus.

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Ability to read electrical diagrams and confidently use a multimeter.

• Experience with HMI systems and industrial sensors.

• Ability to work independently, with the expectation of becoming the sole electrician on night shift.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
