Oyster Shucker - Now Hiring

Looking for part-time to full time PROFESSIONAL Oyster Shucker. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE. This position is one which operates behind a bar where guests can see you. You are expected to operate with proper health and safety precautions as well as arrive for scheduled shifts looking clean, tidy and socially presentable. This is primarily an EVENING/happy hour position with shifts available Thursday-Monday with the exception of Sundays (which = both morning and evening shifts).

FOR THE INTERVIEW YOU WILL:
Be expected to have a resume which includes experience shucking oysters
Actually shuck some oysters and illustrate your ability to open and present a beautiful, healthy, oyster
Be expected to arrive on time AND looking presentable
Be expected to communicate well
Be expected to illustrate your ability to conduct yourself with self-drive and responsibility

FOR EMPLOYMENT IN THIS POSITION YOU MUST:
Be able to do all of the above PLUS...

Ability to set up/break down your oyster station
Clean and organize your oyster section within the walk-in refrigeration unit
Be cordial and helpful with guests, coworkers, management
Be on time, orderly and presentable
Take direction well; respect staff, management, and others
Practice proper oyster storage, holding, and rotation
