About Inman Auto Care

Inman Auto Care is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join its team. This customer-facing role offers a guaranteed base of $32–$38/hour plus sales commission, with approximately $66,000–$100,000+ in earning potential. The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and paid training. Automotive experience is preferred, but strong customer-service and sales professionals may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a professional automotive service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle service and repair needs.
• Communicate with customers by phone, text, and email throughout the repair process.
• Present technician findings, estimates, and recommended automotive services in clear, easy-to-understand terms.
• Follow up with customers, answer questions, and obtain service approvals.
• Coordinate repair needs and workflow with automotive technicians.
• Handle parts ordering and coordination while maintaining accurate customer and vehicle information.
• Build long-term customer relationships and contribute to shop sales goals while maintaining strong customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant customer service, sales, or automotive experience preferred.
• Automotive Service Advisor experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer-service, sales, and professional communication skills.
• Confidence discussing automotive services and repair recommendations with customers.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly; no specific shop software experience is required.
• Ability to communicate professionally by phone, text, and email.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and people skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed base pay of $32–$38/hour.
• Sales commission in addition to base pay.
• Approximately $66,000–$100,000+ earning potential based on the stated pay structure and performance; actual earnings may vary and are not guaranteed.
