Shipping and Receiving Clerk - Now Hiring

A growing Barberton manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a temp-to-perm opportunity.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pay - $18.00 – $23.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.
This is a temp to perm position.

This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in both warehouse operations and computer-based tracking systems. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to handle both physical and administrative responsibilities equally.

Key Responsibilities :
Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying incoming and outgoing materials .
Operate tow motor and overhead crane safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, move, and stage materials as needed .
Enter, update, and maintain accurate inventory and shipping data in computer systems.
Create and maintain spreadsheets and documentation using Microsoft Excel .
Communicate with internal departments regarding orders, shipments, and inventory status.
Ensure accuracy in all data entry and material handling processes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines

Required Qualifications :
Experience operating a tow motor (forklift)
Experience with an overhead crane
Strong computer skills and data entry experience
Ability to create and maintain Excel spreadsheets
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
Valid driver’s license with less than 2 points
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and work independently
Previous shipping and receiving experience

Preferred Experience :
Experience using DATA M software or similar inventory/shipping systems
Prior manufacturing or industrial environment experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
