Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care in the MICU following the nursing process and established standards.
- Collect and analyze assessment data; develop and implement a care plan; evaluate progress toward outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, supervise assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support respiratory equipment as appropriate to ICU care.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide education to patients and families to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in California (state of practice) – Required
- BLS certification – Required
- ACLS or ARC-ALS certification – Required
- EPIC electronic medical record experience – Required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/critical care nursing experience – Required
- BSN – Preferred
- Ability to work the designated day shift in an ICU setting and meet the assignment requirements
