Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. (RMPS) is seeking an experienced Account Manager – Armed Security Operations to provide leadership and operational oversight for a multi-site government security program in Castle Rock and surrounding Douglas County locations.
The Account Manager will serve as the primary operational point of contact and will be responsible for staffing, scheduling, supervision, employee readiness, site inspections, incident management, training compliance, quality assurance, reporting, and overall service performance.
This position requires a hands-on security leader capable of managing armed personnel in courthouse, government, public-facing, and security-screening environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day security operations across multiple assigned facilities.
Maintain the master staffing schedule and ensure required posts are continuously staffed.
Supervise site leadership, security supervisors, Court Security Officers, and Security Officers.
Conduct regular site inspections and performance reviews.
Coordinate employee onboarding, background screening, clearance processing, and assignment readiness.
Maintain qualified relief personnel to address call-offs, vacancies, PTO, and unexpected staffing requirements.
Review incident reports, security logs, screening activity, and other operational documentation.
Ensure employees comply with post orders, company policies, client requirements, uniform standards, and security procedures.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, conduct, and performance.
Coordinate training, firearms qualifications, certifications, and recurring employee training.
Oversee security-screening operations and ensure consistent professional standards.
Coordinate responses to security incidents and emergencies.
Maintain effective communication with client representatives, law enforcement, supervisors, and RMPS management.
Prepare operational and performance reports.
Review timekeeping and staffing records for accuracy.
Coordinate additional security coverage for special events, hearings, meetings, or other operational requirements.
Identify staffing or performance deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Promote professional customer service while maintaining effective security.
Minimum 5 years of armed security, law enforcement, corrections, military police, or comparable protective-services experience.
Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a court, detention, government, or comparable security environment.
Demonstrated experience managing security personnel and schedules.
Experience with armed security operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple locations and competing operational priorities.
Strong incident-reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to work professionally with government and law-enforcement personnel.
Ability to successfully complete required criminal background checks, fingerprinting, security clearances, and client approval.
Must meet all applicable armed-security licensing, firearms, and training requirements.
Courthouse or judicial-facility security experience.
Government facility security experience.
Security-screening experience involving magnetometers, hand wands, or package screening.
Previous law-enforcement, corrections, or military-police experience.
Experience managing multi-site security contracts.
CJIS-related experience.
