Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients using the nursing process
- Monitor and document patient status; administer medications and treatments; escalate concerns as needed
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate with other disciplines
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans to meet patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate appropriately and collaborate with the care team to maintain a safe, healing environment

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (California)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an approved vendor
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from an approved vendor
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum two years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting
- BSN preferred; ADN acceptable
- Ability to work in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting and participate in weekend rotations
