Perform a circle inspection before moving any vehicle, checking for hazards, visible damage, tire inflation, and vehicle readiness.
Verify vehicle identification numbers (VINs) against work orders when applicable.
Confirm that protective materials (seat covers, floor mats) are properly installed and replaced if damaged.
Document inspection results and complete any required paperwork.
Operate vehicles cautiously within yard speed limits, maintaining safe following distances and convoy integrity when driving in groups.
Shuttle vehicles between designated areas, staging yards, processing bays, or transport lines as directed.
Park vehicles precisely according to AMPORTS standards (aligned on load lines or hash marks as required).
Complete and submit all necessary documentation accurately, including movement records and process paperwork.
Follow all AMPORTS policies, procedures, and ISO compliance requirements.
Immediately report any vehicle defects, safety hazards, or irregularities to supervision.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmissions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in vehicle inspections.
Ability to follow standardized procedures and instructions consistently.
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
Frequent walking, standing, bending, and driving.
Exposure to moving vehicles and yard traffic.
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
