Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and orthopedic background for a day-shift assignment in Plymouth, NH.
Details
- Outpatient setting specializing in orthopedic, sports medicine, and post-surgical rehabilitation
- Offers specialized services including manual therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, dry needling, and vestibular rehab
- Utilizes modalities such as iontophoresis, electrical stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, taping, and cupping
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM-6:00 PM, 40 hours per week
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience required; no new graduates
- Outpatient experience required
- Orthopedic experience required
- Inpatient experience highly preferred
- Active BLS certification (AHA) required
- NH state license required if applicable
- Compact license accepted
- Supervisory reference from the past year of employment required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include one-on-one, hands-on treatment emphasizing manual therapy techniques
- Works closely with surgeons and physicians for coordinated post-surgical care
- Provides individualized treatment plans including corrective and therapeutic exercise
- Performs biomechanical evaluations for custom orthotics
- Participates in fall prevention and vestibular rehab programs
- Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Up to 5 days of requested RTO allowed during the assignment
