Certified Medical Assistant

Nolo Medspa & Wellness is seeking a polished, highly organized Medical Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and anticipates what is needed before being asked.

The Medical Assistant will work closely with our medical providers to create a seamless, elevated patient experience while helping clinical days run efficiently and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, supplies and equipment
• Room patients and review relevant medical information
• Obtain vital signs and update medication histories
• Take consistent, high-quality before-and-after photographs
• Assist with patient intake, consent forms and treatment preparation
• Apply topical numbing medication as directed
• Assist providers during injectable, laser and wellness appointments
• Document treatment information accurately in the electronic medical record
• Provide provider-approved pre- and post-treatment instructions
• Clean and turn over rooms between patients
• Monitor clinical supplies and assist with inventory
• Help coordinate lab draws, follow-up appointments and prescription-refill workflows
• Track outstanding patient needs and communicate them to the appropriate provider
• Support checkout, rebooking and treatment-plan coordination when needed
• Maintain patient privacy and follow all HIPAA, infection-control and safety standards
• Perform only those clinical duties permitted by training, practice policy and applicable law

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant education/certification is a non-negotiable
• Previous experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, wellness or a medical office is strongly preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records and patient photography is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Must maintain patient confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

Position Details

• Position: Part-time Medical Assistant with the potential for additional hours
• Location: Nolo Medspa & Wellness
• Schedule: Primarily scheduled around provider treatment days
• Compensation: Competitive and based on experience
