Position: Senior Warehouse Associate
Location: Tampa, FL

Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Senior Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
- Lead and support daily warehouse operations while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Provide direction and guidance to warehouse associates and assist with assigning daily tasks and priorities.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely move, load, unload, and organize inventory.
- Receive incoming shipments and verify products against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents.
- Inspect incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and potential damage.
- Properly store and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, stage, weigh, and label orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks while following proper safety procedures.
- Prepare bills of lading, shipping documents, pick tickets, and other required warehouse paperwork.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and communicate issues to management.
- Coordinate the movement and consolidation of warehouse materials to maximize available space.
- Assist with returns by inspecting materials, documenting returned products, and placing inventory in the appropriate location.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse, loading dock, and surrounding work areas.
- Train and assist new warehouse employees on company procedures, safety requirements, equipment operation, and warehouse processes.
- Monitor workflow and assist supervisors with identifying operational issues and improving efficiency.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA-related warehouse safety practices.
- Perform routine inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with other warehouse duties and special projects as assigned by management.
What will you need in this Senior Warehouse Associate position?
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
- Previous forklift experience required
- Previous leadership, lead, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Ability to train, guide, and support other warehouse employees
- Strong understanding of receiving, shipping, picking, packing, loading, and inventory processes
- Ability to read and understand warehouse documents, packing slips, and shipping paperwork
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must pass background screening
- Must pass a drug screening
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies
