Job Description
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DC COSMETOLOGY OR MANICURIST LICENSE.
NOT ACCEPTING APPLICANTS OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES.
NOT A TYPICAL NAIL SALON. A DIFFERENT KIND OF GROOMING EXPERIENCE.
Earn $18.40–$35+/hour through hourly pay, tips, commissions, and bonuses. All tools and products provided.
Hammer & Nails Dupont is a two-level luxury men’s grooming shop in the heart of Dupont Circle, built around the whole man. We offer manicures, pedicures, skincare, waxing, barbering and more, with a full-service bar downstairs. We also host private and public events.
We’re looking for talented, reliable nail professionals who take pride in their craft and understand that the guest experience matters just as much as the service.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Active DC Cosmetology or Manicurist License
- Strong manicure and pedicure skills
- Experience with men’s nail care preferred
- Skilled in callus care, foot care and nail health
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented
- Detail-oriented with pride in your work
- Strong communication and guest service
- Evening and weekend availability, especially Friday–Sunday
