Adult Day Center Lead Attendant

Family United Adult Day Care Center is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and confident Lead Attendant to join our team!

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with adults while also being comfortable taking the lead, supporting coworkers, and helping keep the day running smoothly

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including toileting, feeding, mobility, and personal hygiene
• Monitor participant well-being and report changes or concerns to the Program Coordinator
• Assist and engage participants during activities, meals, outings, and rest periods
• Serve as a daily point of contact and resource for attendants
• Help assign and adjust attendant coverage to maintain appropriate participant ratios
• Mentor new attendants and provide on-the-job guidance and support
• Help ensure staff follow participant care, safety, and center procedures
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Monitor participant-care supplies and communicate supply needs
• Assist with participant loading and unloading during transportation routines
• Complete required documentation related to participant care, incidents, and changes in condition
• Work closely with the Program Coordinator and Activities Director to support smooth daily operations and successful activities and outings
• Respond appropriately during emergencies, provide basic first aid when necessary, and seek additional assistance when needed
