Shipping Assistant

The Shipping Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of shipping processes within a company. This position involves coordinating shipments, preparing documentation, and supporting logistics teams to guarantee timely and accurate delivery of goods. The Shipping Assistant works closely with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to maintain efficient supply chain activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and logistics partners
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists
• Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve delays
• Assist with inventory management and stock organization for outgoing shipments
• Maintain accurate shipping records and update databases
• Communicate with vendors and customers regarding shipment status
• Support compliance with shipping regulations and company policies
• Assist in the loading and unloading of goods when necessary
