Job Description

Job Description

$44,000–$58,000/year | Full-Time

At Fundamentals, leadership isn't just about managing a program, it's about creating an environment where youth and staff can succeed.

As a Site Coordinator/Program Lead, you'll help lead daily program operations, support your team, engage directly with youth, and make sure the program is safe, structured, and running smoothly.

You'll be a hands-on leader who helps turn the vision of the program into what students and staff experience every day.

What You'll Do

Every day brings something different. You'll balance leadership, program operations, staff support, and direct engagement with youth.

  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure the program runs smoothly
  • Lead, support, and coach staff to promote strong performance and consistency
  • Help ensure staff understand and follow schedules, expectations, and program procedures
  • Build positive relationships with youth through daily engagement
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
  • Support staff in responding to challenging behaviors using appropriate strategies
  • Plan and support activities focused on skill development, wellness, community involvement, and youth engagement

  • Monitor attendance, documentation, incident reports, and other program records
  • Communicate with families regarding youth participation, progress, and concerns
  • Build positive relationships with community partners
  • Ensure the site, vehicles, equipment, and supplies are maintained
  • Assist with transportation and community activities as needed
  • Support administrative and operational tasks
  • Identify concerns and work with leadership to address them
  • Support additional duties as assigned

What Makes This Work Different?

As a Site Coordinator/Program Lead, you're not sitting in an office managing from a distance. You're part of the day-to-day experience.

You might coach a staff member through a challenging situation, help a youth work through a difficult moment, lead a team meeting, troubleshoot a scheduling issue, or jump into an activity with the group.

Your leadership helps create the consistency, structure, and relationships that allow both youth and staff to succeed.
