Accounting Manager

A leading supply chain and logistics company in Texas is searching for an experienced Accounting Manager to join their team!  This is an exciting opportunity to have a key role in the company’s expansion, focusing on financial analysis and the smooth integration of acquisitions.  This position is perfect for a seasoned accounting professional who is a self-starter and able to be flexible with priorities while developing forward-thinking and effective processes.  The job will begin as fully remote and then transitions to an onsite role at their office the Irving/Los Colinas area, where you will have remote work flexibility!

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE

Responsibilities:

• Timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls
• Supervising accounts payable/receivable and full-cycle accounting processes
• Managing month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assisting with financial audits, banking, and treasury functions
• Overseeing financial operations of multiple business units, including a software conversion
• Limited travel to oversee regional financial operations and staff

• 5-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in a distribution or inventory-focused industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Vlookups)
• Supervisory experience and proven ability to manage remote teams effectively
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Experience with Epicor Prophet21 is preferred
• Previous involvement in software conversion projects is preferred
• Must be within commuting distance to Irving/Los Colinas, Texas area
