Product Development Systems Engineer – Battery Systems

We’re looking for a Senior Electrical/Systems Engineer to develop advanced battery systems from concept through prototype, testing, and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop battery system architecture, requirements, and interfaces
• Work with BMS, battery modules/packs, power electronics, and electrical systems
• Review electrical schematics, wiring, protection, and component selections
• Lead system integration, prototype testing, debugging, and validation
• Perform functional safety, risk analysis, and fault/protection assessments
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams and support design reviews
• Manage system requirements and verification/validation activities

What We’re Looking For:

• BS/MS in Electrical, Systems, Electronics, Computer, or Mechatronics Engineering
• 7+ years of complex product development experience
• Strong experience with Battery/BMS, electrical architecture, power electronics, and system integration
• Experience taking products from development through testing and validation
• Requirements management experience; DOORS or Codebeamer is a plus
• Aerospace, defense, automotive, or other mission-critical experience preferred
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and technical leadership skills
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder required
