Housekeeping Houseperson

The Housekeeping Houseperson will support the housekeeping team by ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked. Working primarily in a hotel environment, this role requires frequent interaction with guests and operates during standard daytime hours, including weekends. The Houseperson occasionally uses cleaning machinery to assist in maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare guest rooms for occupancy by cleaning and restocking supplies
• Assist with laundry duties to ensure timely availability of linens and towels
• Track inventory levels of cleaning supplies and room amenities
• Interact regularly with guests to address requests and provide assistance
• Operate cleaning machinery as needed to maintain hygiene in guest and public areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in housekeeping or custodial services
• Knowledge of effective cleaning techniques
• Strong time management skills to meet daily housekeeping targets
• Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness and guest satisfaction
