What You’ll Do
- Inspire & Engage: Create fun, enriching activities and lesson plans that nurture a lifelong love of learning.
- Support the Whole Child: Help students grow both academically and socially-emotionally using flexible teaching methods tailored to individual needs.
- Lead a Collaborative Classroom: Build a positive teamwork culture with assistants and volunteers in your room.
- Build Strong Connections: Serve as a friendly bridge between home and school by regularly communicating with parents and school staff.
- Track Growth: Observe student progress and create opportunities to help them reach key developmental milestones.
- Maintain a Safe Space: Keep classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines front and center so kids always feel safe to learn and play.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine heart for children and a strong desire to guide them as they grow.
- Solid understanding of child development best practices and positive classroom management.
- Completion of required experience and training qualifications set by DELC for your assigned age group.
- Great communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
