Independent Handyman (1099)

Lone Star Facility Management LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Independent Handyman (1099) to provide general handyman services and property maintenance for commercial facilities. As an independent contractor, you will manage company-dispatched assignments, troubleshoot jobsites, communicate with customers, complete quality inspections, and document each completed service using your own tools and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general handyman repairs and property maintenance projects at commercial facilities
• Respond to and manage company-dispatched service assignments
• Troubleshoot jobsites and identify effective repair solutions
• Prepare accurate service estimates, invoices, and related documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout each service call
• Complete quality inspections to verify work meets company and customer expectations
• Submit service notes and photos, customer sign-offs, and completion reports after each job
• Manage schedules and service documentation using scheduling software

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of handyman experience
• Experience performing handyman repairs and property maintenance
• Experience with service estimating
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Proficiency with scheduling software
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
