Block Mason

Pacesetter Personnel Services is actively seeking Block Masons:

A Block Mason constructs and repairs walls, partitions, and other structures using concrete blocks and similar materials. This role involves interpreting architectural plans, mixing mortar, and ensuring that structures are level and plumb. The Block Mason plays a crucial role in building durable and visually appealing concrete block structures for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Mix mortar to the correct consistency and mix.
• Lay concrete blocks in position according to plans using hand and power tools.
• Ensure work is level, plumb, and meets quality standards.
• Cut blocks to required sizes using saws or hand tools.
• Apply finish to joints and surfaces for aesthetic and structural integrity.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
