Experienced Flooring Installer

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Refined Floors is hiring experienced flooring installers for full-time, year-round W-2 positions in Williamsburg, Virginia.

We are looking for skilled professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship, respect clients’ homes and want consistent work with a growing flooring company.

PAY AND SCHEDULE

• $20 to $30 per hour based on verified experience and skill level
• Monday through Thursday
• Four 10-hour workdays
• Three-day weekends
• Paid holidays
• Year-round W-2 employment

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install hardwood, engineered hardwood, luxury vinyl plank and laminate flooring
• Complete stair runner and carpet tile installations
• Perform demolition and proper subfloor preparation
• Install molding, shoe molding, quarter round and transitions
• Complete flooring repairs and lace-in work
• Sand and refinish hardwood floors when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized and professional jobsite
• Follow work orders, manufacturer requirements and company procedures
• Document job progress and completed work
• Communicate professionally with clients and team members
• Properly care for company vehicles, tools and equipment

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Applicants must have at least three years of full-time professional flooring installation experience. Flooring installation must have been a primary occupation, not occasional projects or general remodeling work.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional references
• Reliable transportation to and from our Williamsburg warehouse
• Ability to lift at least 75 pounds
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional appearance and respectful conduct inside clients’ homes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Top pay is reserved for installers who can demonstrate lead-level skills across multiple flooring types.
