$19–$22 per hour | Part-Time or Full-Time

FirstLight Home Care is looking for compassionate, reliable caregivers to support older adults in Oceanside and nearby North County communities.

We offer flexible 4- to 12-hour shifts, including:

• Day and evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekday and weekend shifts

What You May Do

Depending on the client’s care plan, you may assist with:

• Companionship and activities
• Bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Incontinence care
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Dementia support and redirection
• Transfers and mobility assistance
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation and errands
• Care documentation

What You’ll Need

• A compassionate and dependable attitude
• Comfort providing hands-on personal care
• Reliable attendance and communication
• A reliable personal vehicle
• Valid California driver’s license
• Current auto insurance
• Willingness to travel to nearby client homes
• Home Care Aide registration or willingness to complete it
• Ability to complete required background clearance, health screening, and onboarding
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Professional or personal caregiving experience is preferred, but paid training is available for dependable candidates who are ready to learn.
