Position: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a hospital or medical imaging setting. The CT Tech will operate computed tomography equipment, obtain diagnostic-quality images, ensure patient safety, and work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the examination process.
Safely position patients and operate CT imaging equipment.
Administer IV contrast when permitted and required by facility protocol.
Monitor patients for potential reactions to contrast and respond appropriately.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation-safety standards.
Verify patient identification, medical history, and appropriate imaging orders.
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
Perform routine equipment checks and report equipment issues.
Follow infection-control, radiation-safety, and patient-care procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
Provide compassionate care and maintain patient privacy and dignity.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Current ARRT certification in Radiography and/or CT, as required by the assignment.
Active state license or certification required for the assignment location.
Current BLS certification may be required.
Previous CT experience preferred or required depending on the facility.
Strong knowledge of CT procedures, anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Strong communication and patient-care skills.
