About the Role:
Revive Therapy Plus Wellness LLC is looking for a detail-oriented and personable Medical Scheduler to join our growing team in Oklahoma City, OK. Responsibilities:
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments across multiple providers and service lines
- Answer inbound calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect necessary demographic information
- Coordinate referrals and communicate with healthcare providers, staff, and patients
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Follow up on cancellations and no-shows to optimize provider schedules
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
Requirements:
- Prior experience in medical scheduling, medical reception, or a healthcare administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
- Must have 2-3 years scheduling experiance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor with a professional attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
