Location: Plano, TX | 100% Onsite, Monday–Friday
Employment Type: Temp Assignment 

Pay Rate: $60-75/hr
 

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a premier client in Plano, TX, to identify an experienced Senior Analyst – Asset Management. This opportunity is ideal for a CPA with a public accounting foundation and hands-on corporate accounting experience in fixed assets, lease accounting, SAP ERP, and process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Manage fixed asset accounting, including acquisitions, capitalization, transfers, depreciation, disposals, settlements, and asset master data.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and support quarterly and annual asset confirmations, reconciliations, and audit requests.
• Support monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Handle lease accounting, capital expenditures, budgeting, forecasting, and asset tracking while ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Partner across Finance, Procurement, Operations, and other teams to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements in asset management and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, active CPA, and public accounting experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years of overall accounting experience, including at least 3 years of fixed asset and/or lease accounting experience.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience with a strong understanding of GAAP, financial accounting, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Self-motivated individual contributor who can manage multiple deadlines independently and work 100% onsite Monday–Friday in Plano, TX.

Preferred Qualifications

Big 4 public accounting experience and/or experience within the automotive or another asset-intensive industry is preferred.
