Home Health Aide

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential support to elderly patients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities to maintain their comfort and independence. You will work closely with a healthcare team including RN's, HHAs, CNAs, and PCAs, focusing on delivering compassionate and attentive care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with medication management and reminders
• Support personal hygiene activities, including showering and grooming
• Provide mobility assistance to enhance patient safety and comfort
• Prepare meals and help with household tasks as needed
• Document care provided and any changes in patient condition
• Respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations
• Facilitate patient appointments and coordinate communication with the healthcare team
• Maintain effective communication with patients and families
• Deliver compassionate home care tailored to elderly patients’ needs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in home health care
• Certification from a Home Health Aide (HHA) training program or experience counts as well.
• Strong patient assistance and personal care skills
• Excellent communication and time management abilities
• Compassionate approach with attention to detail
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient privacy
