Bookkeeper - Part-Time

Description:

HeartWell Services LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Albuquerque.

We are a DDSD Waiver provider, so experience with DDSD/DD Waiver, Medicaid, or a similar healthcare or service-based organization is preferred. The right person will be comfortable handling day-to-day bookkeeping, keeping records organized, and working with QuickBooks.

Requirements:

 

Bookkeeper Job Duties

• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
• Enter and categorize income and expenses
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Track invoices, payments, and receipts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping as needed
• Prepare basic financial reports for management
• Keep financial records organized and ready for audits
• Track and maintain documentation related to DDSD/Medicaid funding
• Identify and correct discrepancies in financial records
• Assist with month-end bookkeeping and other accounting tasks as needed

Bookkeeper Requirements

• Previous bookkeeping experience required
• QuickBooks experience required
• Good understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working independently
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel

Bookkeeper's Preferred Experience

• DDSD/DD Waiver experience
• Medicaid or healthcare experience
• Experience working with a disability services provider
• Experience with payroll or employee-related accounting
• Experience preparing financial records for audits
