Assembler

The Assembler operates sealing and assembly equipment to produce high-quality metal components and finished products in accordance with work orders, blueprints, and production specifications. This role focuses on safe machine operation, precise assembly, quality inspection, and accurate documentation while supporting overall production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Operate machine sealing and assembly equipment safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
• Assemble metal components and finished products according to work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials and completed products for defects, quality issues, and accuracy, ensuring they meet required standards.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and make minor adjustments as needed to maintain production quality and output.
• Load and unload materials, components, and finished products onto and off of machines and workstations.
• Package and label completed products accurately for shipment, following packaging and documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records, including counts, measurements, and inspection results.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping requirements to maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or production issues promptly to supervisors or designated personnel.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals, deadlines, and daily output targets.
• Assist in inventory management and material handling, including organizing, tracking, and replenishing materials as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support production operations and team objectives.

• Experience operating manufacturing, assembly, or machine equipment in a production environment (preferred).
• Ability to work with sealants and related materials in the assembly and sealing process.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, measurements, blueprints, and production documentation.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, including understanding of machine functions and simple adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly, inspection, and documentation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and quality standards.
• Reliable work habits, including punctuality and consistent attendance.

This role is based in a manufacturing facility and involves working around sealing and assembly equipment, metal components, and production materials. You spend most of the day on your feet, loading and unloading parts, operating machinery, and performing visual inspections. The work follows established safety and housekeeping standards to keep the area clean and organized. Hours typically follow a structured shift schedule aligned with production needs, and attire is practical and appropriate for a factory setting, including any required safety gear such as protective clothing, eyewear, or footwear.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
