LMR Field Service Technician - Motorola DMR / CapMAX / LCP

Key Responsibilities

Motorola DMR Systems: Install, configure, test, and commission Motorola DMR infrastructure including CapMAX base stations, LCP trunked systems, and associated network components.
DAS/BDA ERCES: Support installation and testing of Public Safety DAS, BDA, and ERCES systems per NFPA 1221 and local AHJ requirements.
System Commissioning: Perform FATP, RF coverage verification, and end-to-end system validation prior to customer handoff.
Codeplug Programming: Create and manage Motorola DMR codeplugs, templates, and subscriber programming for enterprise radio fleets.
Field Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with LMR infrastructure, RF distribution, antenna systems, and network integration components.
Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with installation crew members and field management, sharing knowledge and supporting team objectives to ensure every project is completed to the highest standard.
Customer Interface: Serve as the technical point of contact on-site; communicate system status, test results, and commissioning milestones clearly and professionally.
Documentation: Produce accurate as-built records, test reports, commissioning checklists, and compliance documentation.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards, site-specific safety requirements, and BearCom safety protocols at all times.
