Elementary Special Education Teacher - Cincinnati, Ohio

Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Teacher supporting elementary students in grades 3-4. This full-time, onsite contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to deliver specialized instruction and individualized support for students based on their IEPs. You'll work in partnership with dedicated educators, engaged families, and collaborative school-based teams in the Greater Cincinnati area, helping each child achieve their highest potential.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License/Certification required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct instruction and targeted interventions for students in grades 3–4, tailored to individual IEP goals
• Develop and adapt engaging instructional materials to meet diverse learning needs
• Partner with classroom teachers and related service providers to promote student growth and inclusion
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and communicate regularly with families and team members
• Create a supportive, positive classroom climate that fosters student confidence, independence, and well-being
