Controller

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and payroll management
• Prior experience in professional services or law firm environments is highly desirable
• Proficiency with ERP and payroll systems, specifically SurePoint/Coyote preferred
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to existing processes; open to candidates without prior management experience
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with process automation initiatives
• Knowledge of complex payroll systems, especially regarding attorney compensation structures
• Leadership or supervisory experience, even if limited, in managing staff

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar discipline (required)

• Ability to thrive in an onsite, full-time work environment from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
