CV Resources is partnering with a growing organization to identify an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with strong sales and use tax experience who enjoys working cross-functionally and taking ownership of the indirect tax function.

Location: Boise, ID | Hybrid
Compensation: $125k+

About the Role

The Indirect Tax Manager will oversee the company’s indirect tax compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions. This role will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely compliance while identifying opportunities to improve processes and manage tax risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and use tax compliance across multiple states and jurisdictions

• Manage preparation, review, and filing of indirect tax returns

• Monitor changes in state and local tax laws and assess their impact on the business

• Research and interpret sales and use tax regulations and provide guidance to internal stakeholders

• Manage tax registrations, exemption certificates, and related documentation

• Partner with Accounting and Finance to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions

• Support audits, notices, inquiries, and other correspondence from taxing authorities

• Identify and implement process improvements related to indirect tax compliance and reporting

• Assist with taxability reviews for products, services, and transactions

• Monitor indirect tax liabilities and assist with reconciliations and reporting

• Work with external tax advisors and service providers as needed

• Maintain accurate tax records and documentation

• Provide guidance and training to internal teams on indirect tax matters

• Support special projects, acquisitions, system implementations, and other tax-related initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field
