We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead core accounting operations for a designated region within our healthcare organization in Dallas, Texas. This position plays a central role in maintaining accurate general ledger activity, supporting timely financial reporting, and guiding both internal and outsourced accounting resources. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to build productive partnerships across finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities:
• Direct accounting operations for an assigned area, ensuring financial activities are completed accurately and in accordance with organizational standards.
• Lead and support both in-house team members and external service partners by setting expectations, reviewing output, and promoting consistent performance.
• Coordinate the month-end close cycle to help ensure deadlines are met and financial records are complete.
• Examine financial reports and key account activity to identify trends, variances, and items requiring follow-up.
• Approve account reconciliations after thorough review and provide guidance to improve accuracy and resolution of outstanding items.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for the entities under responsibility.
• Manage internal and external audit activities by organizing requested materials, addressing questions, and working closely with auditors.
• Serve as a primary finance contact for facility leadership, business partners, and outsourced providers to resolve accounting concerns and maintain alignment.
• Escalate significant issues and communicate relevant financial matters to cross-functional groups, including tax and government finance, when needed.

• Accounting Degree, Master's Preferred with CPA required.

• Strong working knowledge of general ledger processes and financial statement preparation.

• Background in reviewing account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules for accuracy and completeness.

• Experience coordinating or supporting financial statement audits with internal and external auditors.

• Demonstrated ability to supervise accounting staff and guide the work of outsourced teams or service providers.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate discrepancies and recommend solutions.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across finance and operational stakeholders.

• Experience leading month-end close activities in a complex accounting environment.
